Cozy Christmas Bear

Happy Halloween,

I hope everyone is having a good week. My thoughts and prayers go out to the people of NY & NJ who were severely impacted by Sandy.  We were without power for about 18 hours. A large tree fell about 25 -50 feet from our drive way and down came the power lines. Of course right across our driveway. It was a long night with all the trucks, lights and chain saws. The dogs were not happy about all the commotion. Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers.

Today I don't have a Halloween card but a Christmas card. I just got this adorable stamp on Saturday from the mail man/woman and had to ink him up.

Here are the goodies that I used:
Magnolia Stamps - Cozy Christmas Bear & Sentiment - Vintage Merry Post
Memory Box Paper - Pixie
Echo Park - Christmas Day
Tulle
Ribbon
Bling
Flowers
Memory Box -Frosty Border, Frostyville Border, Crystal Snowflake
Spellinder
Tim Holtz Clock Die
Tim Holtz Christmas Token
Distress Ink - Festive Berries
Martha Stewart - Snowflake Punch
Copic Markers
Glitter
Liquid Pearls

Happy Halloween,

Today I have this adorable image Lili's Cleaning Day to share with you. I don't know about you but I do love to clean. I have to be in the mood though and unfortunately I would rather be crafting.

To create my card I used the following:

Stamp - Inky Impressions - Lil's Cleaning Day
Stamp Sentiment - Roasie's Road Show
Paper is from Prima - London Market
Floss
Copic Markers
Charm
Cheese clothe mist with Slate Glimmer Mist (to give it that dusty look. LOL!)

Think Pink

When I saw this challenge I really wanted to participate. However, I could not figure out what to create.  So today it came together. I really enjoyed working on this project and I am pretty happy with the way it turned out.

Did everyone enjoy their weekend? I did but it went too fast. We are all waiting for the storm. They actually cancelled school for tomorrow. I hope it turns out to be nothing. I will let you know....

Back to my project. Below is the recipe I used to create the card and bucket:
Magnolia Stamps -Tilda with Cozy Heart & Tilda Catching Stars
Memory Box Stamp - Adore Peony Collage
Copic Markers
MME Paper Blush
Ribbon and Rose Trim
Cherry Lynne - Flourish Die
Mariane Die - Hearts
Memory Box Die - Cherish Border
Doo Hickey Die- Vintage Tag
Foam Breast Cancer Embellishments
Flowers
Pink Tulle
Perfect Pearls - Petal Pink
A light pink Bazzell ink for the borders of the paper

This tag was an accident. I stamped the image and then used the tag as I thought I had a blank piece of card stock. Whoops, it actually worked out. Here is a close up of Tilda on the bucket.

Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

I hope everyone is having a good week! I can't believe it is already the end of October. I wish I could craft all day however, I have to work to support my habit. Shhhh! I just ordered twice from Tilda's Town, oh yes they were having a sale on DooHickey dies. I can't wait to get them.

A Christmas Wreath

Today I would like to share with you a special Christmas wreath. It was a lot of fun to create with non-Christmas images. I used Christmas items to transform these cute little images into a Christmas design.

To create my wreath I used the following stamps: Lili's Pumpkin, Nurse Lili, Lili's Cleaning Day. I used Copic markers Skin & Eyes E000, E00, B93, R20; Nurse R46, E31, YR20, YR21, C00; Hair on the other two E25, E31, E50; vacuum cleaner C0, C1, C3, Y13. For the earrings and buttons I used Liquid Pearls white, platinum and red. Lili's Pumpkin and Lil's cleaning day I did paper piercing with Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium and Authentique Peaceful. To create the flowers I used two different size Spellbinders circle die and red tulle. Lastly, to embellish the wreath I added flowers, two chipboard pieces from Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium with some green polka dot ribbon, misc. embellishments, and I used Cherry Lynne die small flourish. And a beautiful bow as the finishing touch.

A Picture of some of the supplies used to create the wreath.

2013 Calendar

It's that time of year again, time to make the calendars. I am making them on the simple side as I am using a Graphic 45 8"x8" album and I don't want to make it too heavy. This way they won't be tipsy.
I used Magnolia Stamp Tilda with Wiola colored with Copic markers. She is perfect for Graphic 45's A Lady Diary DP. I used some pieces of the paper to embellish the page. For the calendar I used Scallop Label 1 dies and a clear sticker monthly calendar.

Hayride with Tilda

Are you having a good week? I am and I have so many ideas for new projects.

I had such a hard time creating this card! I am not quite sure why because she is so adorable.

For this card I used paper from my stash. Tilda was colored with Copic markers and I had to embellish her scarf with my favorite, polka dots. I used a silver glitter pen for the swirls and buttercream liquid pearl for the little dots. The fabulous embellishments are from Jolees and I used the large flourish Cherry Lynn die. I inked all the edges with my favorite distress ink - Gathered Twigs. And how could I forget the stamped image is Autumn Tilda with Broom.

Wizard Tilda gets a New Hat and some Exciting News

Happy Saturday,

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! We finally had a sunny day, a little on the cold side but I will take it. Next Saturday is the pumpkin festival which a yearly event. Keene, NH actually made the Guinness Book of World Records 8 times for over thirty thousand carved pumpkins.  My husband and I don't go on Saturday anymore there are just too many people. Keene has about 22,000 and about 28,000 attend the event from all over the country.... So in honor of that I made this spooky witches hat. And lastly, I am so excited I am going to be a guest designer in November for 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog!!!

The hat was fun to make but a bit of a challenge. I bought a cardboard frame at Michaels then I bought fabric from Joannes which I used to cover the hat. I also bought the tulle which I gathered around the brim. Here is a picture of the hat before it was decorated.

Here is a different angle:

Today I am featuring a digi stamp Trixie Treat from Kenny K on a Halloween goodie bag. I used Tim Holtz "In the Bag" die to make this little treat bag. I used the orange paper to create the bag from my stash. I misted the cheese clothe with "Haunted Shadows" Glimmer Mist and I used Liquid Pearls "Sunflower" mist on the spider web. The accent papers are from Echo Park's "Hollingsworth Manor". The bat are stickers from Martha Stewart which I have made 3D with some pop dots. Trixie is colored with Copic markers and a few items on her were highlighted with glitter pens and I also used pop dots on her to create dimension on the bag.

Ballerina Tilda the Star of the Nutcracker

Happy Wednesday,

I hope you are all having a good week! I just started a new job yesterday which is closer to home and I feel like I have gained so much time to do the things I love to do. Yes, the most important crafting....

Today I would like to share with you a criss cross card with a Christmas Flair showcasing beautiful Ballerina Tilda. I am totally obsessed with some of the Graphic 45 paper and I got the Nutcracker paper a couple of weeks ago and well this is the first opportunity I have had to use it. I thought she was perfect for the Graphic 45 Nutcracker Collection paper. I used Memory Box Dies Frosty Border and Crystal Snowflake and Marianne Snowflake Die. To add richness to the color scheme I used Seedless Preserves Distress Ink on the edges of the paper. Ballerina Tilda was colored with Copic markers. Her crown was decorated with glitter and some bling. To complete the card I added bling, gold ribbon and the ballerina slippers. Inside the card I used Spellbinders Scallop Label one and the sentiment is "Christmas Ticket" from Memory Box.
