A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Happy New Year! I haven't posted for a bit. I just returned from 9 glorious days in southern Florida. I have to say I enjoyed gorgeous sunshine and for most of the days mid 80's. However, I am now back to reality - below 40 degrees. I had a marvelous time spending Christmas with my two awesome sons, my amazing daughter-in-law and my wonderful husband.

Here is a printers tray I made for a friend. I used the Memory-Box-AMANA-CIRCLE die that I bought from Magnolia Licious -Magnolia Stamps. The two outside flowers were mounted on a solid flower shape to give them some more dimension. These die cuts are awesome. I can't wait to order some of the new ones.

50 minutes until 2012!

Happy Birthday to my Wonderful Son!

My son's 28th Birthday is today! He lives in Southern Florida and he does own a surf board. And he surfs. So I thought Surf Edwin from the Lazy Summer Days was the perfect image for his card.

The background was embossed with Koi fish then I used a little distress ink to give it color and dimension. The fence was colored with Creme de Chocolate and Creme de Cocoa Glimmer mist. The sand effect was created with Copic markers. I colored Edwin with Copic markers E0000, E00, E11, E25, E31, E50, G21, G40, B21, B24, B32, B000, B01, and R20. I used liquid glass for the design on the surf board. I stamped, colored and cut out the starfish and pop with pop dot. I distressed the birthday tag and added some rope.

Enjoy your evening and thanks for stopping by!

Sweet Christmas Dreams - Winter Tilda

I hope everyone had a great weekend. It's been awhile since I have posted. Very busy getting ready for Christmas!

Here is Winter Tilda all pretty in red & green. She was colored with Copic Markers; I used liquid glass on the buttons of her jacket to give them some dimension. She had some stars in her braids and her boots were colored with Creme de Chocolate Glimmer Mist. The beautiful tree is the new Memory Box Winterland die. I added a star to the top and some red jewels as decorations. I used my spellbinders to cut out the circle backgrounds. Add some ribbon and a sentiment.

Elegant Snoowie

Happy Thursday! It is a blustering morning with a little of the white stuff overnight. Mother Natures way of getting us in the Christmas spirit.

I went shopping last weekend and found this beautiful paper in an art store. I embossed some plain red with a snowflake embossing folder and spritz'd a little gold pearl mist. Snoowie was colored with Copic markers, his scarf, mittens and hat were cut from Memory box paper. I added some beautiful ribbon, bling and the white poinsettia to finish his look. Snoowie was mounted in a white frame.

Thank you for stopping by!

November Calendar Page

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I should probably be posting a Christmas card. Oh well... Here is the last page of the calendar. Baking Tilda seemed appropriate.

Enjoy your day!

Rufus Makes his Debut

I can't believe it is already December. I made 16 photo books for my co-workers for Christmas.

I used my new beautiful Memory Box Winterland Tree and added some star bling to complete the tree. Rufus was colored with Copic Markers. I painted the window with Tattered Leather Glimmer Mist. I added the sentiment and finished the tag with some Christmas floss. I used real plastic snow on the edges of the rooftop.

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your weekend.
