My Beautiful Girls

Here are my gorgeous girls after their trip on Saturday to the beauty parlor. They were not impressed when we dropped them off. Oh but they did smell good and they looked too cute when we picked them up.

A Valentine Treat

Oh what a glorious day! A day off from work. Very relaxing. Here are a couple of tin pails I got from Michaels for Valentine's Day. I used my sunflower stamp from Outline Rubber Stamps, Copic Markers and some Valentine glitter from Martha Stewart. Added some red, white, pink shredded paper and some wonderful Italian chocolates wha la - cute Valentine decoration. Enjoy!

Challenge for Ellen Huston Gallery

Here is the card I used for the Challenge for the Ellen Huston Gallery. Black, white and one other color- Inchie INKlings.

I used a cranberry red card and Doodlebug white polka dot paper. The stamped image is from Lockhart Stamp Company - IB Butterfly and the sentiment is from Rosie's Roadshow. To embellish the card I used Basic Grey Ribbon Doilies Oliver. I inked the edges of the white areas with Tim Holtz Fired Brick Distress Ink.

It's a Garden Party

Well after today's snow we could use some spring! I got these cute buckets at Michaels. I used my outline stamps, copics and some glitter pens to color the images. The images have a dual purpose as I put magnets on the back of them so they would stay attached to the buckets. I will be presenting them to a group tomorrow night as a proposal theme for our dessert hour. I hope they like them.

Thanks for visiting! Stay warm.

Budapest Memories

Our son was doing a semester abroad in Budapest. So as a surprise for my husband's 50th birthday I gave him a trip to visit our son. They had an awesome week together traveling to Switzerland and spending a few days together in Budapest. I created this book for him as a Christmas gift.

The album is from Tattered Angels- Travel Ledger. To cover the pages I used tattered leather, slate, and forest green glimmer mist. To create the plain and creative letter and words the Cricut did the work.

Longing for the Seaside

Happy Sunday! Here is the last of the calendar series. I made this calendar for my lovely daughter-in-law who is fortunate enough to live at the ocean. The stamp is from Outline Rubber Stamps - Split Layering Collage-Seaside.

I used the following to color the image:

Copics: B02, B04, B06, B41, B45, E34, E57, YG95, YR02 YR21. Smooch - Ocean Soul and Pumpkin and to add the final touch blue glitter pen.

Thanks for visiting and have a great week!

Happy New Year!

Here are the last four months of the calendar.

For September and November I used stamps from Amuse. The flower cart was colored with Copics and Spica pens and a dash of smooch. The damask stamp was dipped in a two-tone ink process of a brown and lime green. I love the effect!

October is an inchie stamp. I thought the scarecrow was adorable.

December is from an Outline Rubber stamp collage stamp. For the snowflakes I used my wonderful glitter pens to give it some sparkle. We love the glitz, glimmer and glam.

Thanks for visiting; have a wonderful day!
